Golden Globe Winners

January 30, 2010

It's amazing that one year ago, I was singing the praises of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the integrity of the winners of the Golden Globe. Read my take on last year's awards here. This year, despite some solid choices (Bridges, Streep, Waltz, Mo'Nique, The White Ribbon, Up, Reitman & Turner), the Golden Globe winners were a total joke. I was disgusted by the time it was all over. For shame!

Brian Dunn's on TV!!! Part Six- The White Ribbon

January 30, 2010

The last few weeks of January 2010 have been among the busiest of my life. Therefore, I haven't been able to get out to the theaters to see films to submit to the Rotten Tomatoes Show at all this month. The last time I was on the show was back in December helping to review Michael Haneke's brilliant, bleak Cannes Golden Palm winner The White Ribbon. Of all my RT Show appearances, I'm most proud of this one. Check out the review, and when the film expands to a wider limited release in February, you really should check it out. It's not the most enjoyable film-going experience you'll have, but without a doubt, it will make you think.

As always, check out The Rotten Tomatoes Show on Current TV on Thursdays at 10:30pm EST. It repeats frequently throughout the week.

Here's the link to watch The RT Show's review of The White Ribbon:
